In the garden

Helen’s garden is formal and abundant. Functional but still fun. It was designed by Carterton-based landscape artist Hamish Moorhead. The centrepiece is a fountain, but really it’s all about vegetables. The garden is designed to provide for family and friends all year round. When you come for a meal at the house of Paperhands, the hands of Helen and Ben have usually grown and made the food and wine. This garden is an ode to doing things by hand, and living in spaces that both inspire and provide.
